Last Friday morning, Jen Marlowe, her friend, Fadi, from Gaza, and I launched an internet-based fundraising campaign to raise money for 6 year-old Abdallah Abu Kash. In it, we stressed the fact that with treatment for his rare (and not yet fully understood) lung condition, it is likely that Abdallah will be able to live a relatively normal life, but without proper treatment, he might die. We asked for $5,000 to cover cover the initial rounds of testing at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
